Our story starts in 2021, with one goal to make payment freedom inclusive, simple, and accessible for every business and consumer
Moby was founded in 2021 in Malaysia by Rian Philip. A serial entrepreneur with years of experience in the financial sector, driven by an inclusive mission and vision to democratise financial access for every business and every consumer.
With a growing base of merchants trusting Moby, we scaled rapidly, onboarding businesses across industries and expanding our payment solutions to meet the demands of a fast-moving market. Every new merchant was proof that simpler payments make a real difference.
We pushed boundaries, launching new products like Islamic and Conventional Pay Later, Visa credit card instalments, POS Terminal, Business Loan, and loyalty programme. Each innovation was driven by one thing: listening to merchants and building solutions that solve real business and consumer problems.
